The 2020 Census test on the Internet was conducted between May 21 and June 03. Its main objective was to assess alternative uses of the web for Census data collection, mainly with respect to the following:

• Adequacy of CNEFE for the support and distribution by mail of keys for Internet access;
• Level of acceptance of the Internet by informants;
• Quality of the information obtained;
• Use of different strategies of access by informants with or without e-tickets;
• Identification of reasons for non-reply;
• Assessment of understanding, usability and navigability both from personal computers and mobile platforms;
• Toll Free Service regarding help and re-contacting activities;
• Marketing campaigns.

The test of questionnaire auto-filling on the Internet was conducted in such a way that informants, in housing units of real enumeration areas, could access the questionnaire and fill out the necessary information.
