Post-Enumeration Survey

The Post-Enumeration Survey (PPE) is one of the steps of the 2022 Population Census. Its major goal is to provide resources to assess the coverage and quality of the data collection of the census operation. The PPE is a sampling survey of enumeration areas. The data collection work begins when the selected enumeration areas are completely collected and supervised by the Population Census. The PPE consists of a single questionnaire to be applied by the enumerators through an interview with one or more residents of the households. Like the Population Census, the PPE interviews are registered in a specific application in the DMC. Once completed the data collection of the PPE, the information collected in the PPE and in the Census are compared. Therefore, the PPE complements the work of the Population Census.
