With the objective of establishing thematic coverage for the first version of the questionnaire and of writing questions so as to ensure concept standardization and harmonization with other surveys produced by the Institute, the department in charge of the Population Census has promoted a round of consultation with experts from the IBGE, covering the several thematic areas investigated by the census. A step of this process was the internal listing of proposed questions and thematic blocks appointed by workgroups from the Institute, thus enabling documentation and analysis of the relevance and impact of the use of such information.
