The second pilot test for the 2021 Population Census was carried out from March 11th to April 05th, 2019 in municipalities distributed among 14 Federation Units, covering urban areas, rural areas and areas of traditional peoples and communities in the North, Northeast, Southeast and South Regions.

In addition to evaluating the possible changes due to the results of the First Pilot Test, this test dealt with self-administered questionnaires through the Internet, the use of the call center services, adequacy and performance of questions in different data-collection methods, duration of the interviews, collection control systems, and it also tested the training network and instructional material, among others aspects.
