Ceará´s coordinators gather to assess Census operation

The coordinators of the 2022 Population Census in Ceará gathered in the headquarters of the IBGE State Superintendence (SES-CE) on Thursday (15) afternoon to assess the census operation. Once completed the enumeration, the meeting aims at proceeding an analysis to pinpoint errors and successes, difficulties and advances, in order to conceive improvements for the coming editions.

The meeting of the coordinators took place right after the celebration of the 87 years of the IBGE and tributes to officers, held in the morning also in SES-CE headquarters. Altogether, 16 area coordinators of the interior of the state and three of the capital Fortaleza gathered, as well as the coordinators of Dissemination, Operational, Post-Enumeration Survey (PPE) and Census Planning and Monitoring Meetings (Repacs).

“I would like to congratulate you for your work in the Census. It is not a lonely work, but rather a work of a group of engaged people,” celebrated Francisco Lopes, the IBGE Superintendent in Ceará, who reviewed 10 months of data collection, assessed the work developed and mentioned some issues to be cleared for the release of the results in the end of June.

Besides the Superintendent, Josemar Tiné, the Operational Coordinator, assessed the budget, Thaís Moura, the Coordinator of Repacs, commented about pending issues in the meeting minutes, Dalila Nobre and Oscar Arruda, of the Technical Coordination, monitored the Dashboard, and Gisela Collares, the PPE Coordinator, who is gathering assessments from officers on the census operation.
