Everybody is looking forward to these results,” stated Professor Júlio Francisco Barros Neto, head of DEMA-UFC, when introducing the speaker.
The IBGE Superintendent began his speech reminding his times at the UFC. “I joined as a student in the Statistics course in 1976 and graduated in 1980, so I am a statistician for 43 years. Yesterday we managed to complete the 2022 Population Census. And we have already a release date: June 28, 2023. When we have the results of the Census, public policies will be developed to improve the life of Brazilian citizens.”
