In the afternoon of Thursday, March 17, the IBGE State Unit in Acre carried out an event to show the results of the test of the 2022 Population Census.

The event was held at the Cultural Center of the Court of Law of Acre (TJ-AC) with the participation of local authorities, like the General Comptroller of the State, Mr. Luiz Almir Brandão Francisco Soares, the municipal Secretary of Planning, Neiva Tessinari, and the Executive Coordinator of the Association of Municipalities of Acre (AMAC), Marcus Frederick Freitas de Lucena.

The presentations were carried out by the head of the IBGE State Unit in Acre, Marco Fábio Esteves, who highlighted the importance of this test as one of the steps in the preparation for the 2022 Census. Between November 2021 and February 2022, eight enumerators covered six enumeration areas of Conjunto Tucumã, a neighborhood of the capital Rio Branco.

The event was covered by one of the major TV stations in the state, TV Gazeta, affiliated to Record Network.
