Training for Census dress rehearsal in district of Ema, Pindoretama, Ceará

On October 18, 2021, the UE-Ceará started the training for the Census dress rehearsal, which will be accomplished in the district of Ema, in Pindoretama, in November. The event counted with the participation of technical coordinators and supervisors of area and quality, as well as of census sub-area coordinators.
Rosane Guimarães, the training coordinator, opened the event presenting the importance of the Population Census and of the dress rehearsal to assess systems and applications involved in the project. Francisco José Moreira Lopes, head of the unit, highlighted the moment of tests for the Census and its relevance to the IBGE and the society, explained the selection of the district of Ema and introduced the team that coordinates the Census and the surveys involved in the Census.
Ana Eugênia, the technical coordinator of the Census, highlighted the importance of a good management and of the technical area, as well as detailed their respective roles and of those involved in the data collection for the good performance of the operation.
The training was split into two moments: training of enumerators and of supervisors, which finished on October 27. It consisted of the preparation of the professionals who will work in the Population Census, both theoretical and practical, handling manuals, equipment and systems that will contribute to the data collection activities.
