The IBGE State Unit of Mato Grosso do Sul continues to train the servants for the dress rehearsal of the 2022 Population Census. The activities began last Monday (19) and will close next Thursday (27).

The training is being held at the auditorium of the Ministry of Agriculture, Livestock and Supply (Mapa), in the morning and afternoon, by trainers Thays de Souza Nogueira and Lorenna Gabriella Novaes Santana. Besides the two trainers, more 23 students participated in the activities involved in the Census dress rehearsal.

The event was opened by Mario Alexandre de Pinna Frazeto, head of the IBGE State Unit of Mato Grosso do Sul, Carlita Estevam de Sousa, deputy head, and Alex de Almeida Uchôas, operational coordinator of the 2022 Census. They talked about aspects of the training and dress rehearsal, as well as reinforced the importance of this census operation.

The first week of training dealt with data collection and it was especially aimed at enumerators, supervisors and observers. The second week, started last Monday (25), talks about supervision and it is aimed at supervisors and observers.
