An IBGE delegation gathered with representatives from the City Hall of Viamão last Monday (25) to discuss the launching of the dress rehearsal of the 2022 Census. In the meeting, the city administration guaranteed all the support required by the event, which will take place in the morning of October 4 in front of the Basic Health Unit of Saúde Estalagem, located in the neighborhood selected for the dress rehearsal.

“We greatly thank you for the partnership and support of the City Hall,” emphasized José Renato Braga de Almeida, head of the UE-RS. Luís Eduardo Puchalski, operational coordinator of the Census in RS, and Sônia Zanotto, coordinator of dissemination of the Census in RS, were also present in the meeting. On the City Hall side, Vinícius Santos, director of Communication, and Shirley Maciel, assistant of the mayor´s office, were present.

During the meeting, items like sound and ceremonial of the event were adjusted. They will be supported by the city administration, as well as the dissemination in social media and local press. In addition, the municipality will provide an opportunity for the IBGE to guide professionals of public health and social assistance on the dress rehearsal, so they can explain to the population.
