IBGE begins to define data collection stations for 2020 Census in Federal District. Some areas have already been presented.

The location of the data collection stations of the 2020 Population Census began to be defined by the State Unit of the Federal District (UE-DF). On September 18, the UE held a meeting with the DF´s Secretariat of Education and Administrative Regions, Emater, Codeplan (Planning Company of the DF) and CEB (Energy Company of Brasília) to deal about this matter.
In the meeting, the maps of four sub-areas of the Federal District with the most suitable places to implement the data collection stations were presented. Information about the census operation was also presented, like technological aspects involved, number of persons hired and the enumeration areas. Some possibilities to implement the data collection stations have already been outlined, as well as the support to disseminate the census and the IBGEeduca project.
According to the head of the UE-DF, the operational coordinator of the Census, Mônica de Oliveira Lima, the meeting coordinator, Elton Mendes Fior, the IT coordinator, José Magno de Avila Junior, the territorial base coordinator, Renato Zorzenon dos Santos, the dissemination coordinator, Michella Reis, and the coordinators of sub-areas, Camila Oliveira Santos (Gama), Rafael Gomes Pereira (Brasília), Borges Nogueira (Taguatinga), Carlos Queiroz de Medeiros (Sobradinho), participated in the meeting.
